Every day, Ops teams are flooded with alerts via emails, text or IM’s. First few days, the Ops person takes it seriously but as days go by, the Ops team starts to get inundated with the alerts and the urgency of the alerts is lost. What is the point in alerting when they are not responded to with urgency?
